What Is Your Destiny?

It has never been said that saying “yes” to God would be easy and in fact often times there will be those that come against the very thing we believe God has called us to.

Saying yes to God is truly the best decision I have ever made, continually saying “yes” to God, now that keeps this ride one amazing adventure. Scripture talks about being predestined (Romans 8) and as we study the bible we find stories of God’s people fulfilling a calling that God placed on them. For example, look at the beautiful story of an orphaned girl named Esther.

The story of Esther that can be found in the Old Testament of the Bible is a beautiful example of how God will use us if we will just say “yes” to Him. Esther was a Jewish girl that lost her parents and was raised by her Uncle Mordecai. As we watch Esther’s story unfold we see that sheis eventually and strategically placed in a position to compete for the title of Queen of Persia, which she ultimately is selected to fill. Now we would think being selected as Queen of Persia life would be smooth sailing however, as Esther takes her position as the wife of King Xerxes, the enemy, which we know never sleeps, is plotting the demise of the Jewish people, her people.

It has never been said that saying “yes” to God would be easy and in fact often times there will be those that come against the very thing we believe God has called us to. However, if we close our ears to the voice of the enemy and continue to follow the voice of the Lord we will always see His victory.

What is your destiny? What is it that God has placed before you to accomplish?

Haman, one of the king’s trusted advisors, was that person in Esther’s life, boy was he something else. Haman created a decree with the approval of the King that was designed to have all the Jews in the kingdom murdered.Esther, unaware of the situation is summoned by her Uncle Mordecai and is directed to intercede on behalf of her people, the Jews.

Mordecai utters these life changing words to Esther. “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?”(Esther 4:14). Talk about a life shaking moment in time that I am sure Esther never forgot. See Esther had a choice just like you and I do, thankfully she chose to take a stand for her people which ultimately ended with the King ordering Haman’s death. She saved the Jewish people, fulfilled her destiny and found her place in history as we read about her in scripture.

What is your destiny? What is it that God has placed before you to accomplish? He has purposed you and predestined you and definitely has a plan for you (Romans 8:28-30, Jeremiah 29:11). Have you come to this place for such a time as this? Have you found yourself even on this website for such a time as this? Have you come across Seeking God Ministries Mentorship course for such a time as this? God has created a story for you even before you were born. I would like to challenge you to take time, talk to the Lord, ask Him what direction it is He would like you to go and then GO. Do not waste one moment. Heed to His voice, He will never misguide you.
